Rock climbing in Kalymnos, Greece

A fantastic direct line up the middle of the wall, with the crux right at the top where you cross a large roof. Powerful climbing through steep terrain is followed by a technical wall on small crimps and sidepulls. Hard to onsight – enjoy searching for the holds!

The route could be 8a? Very technical, bit different style than what we call “kalymnian”…but very dangerously bolted ( the first 3 bolts after the ledge should be in totally diferent position – you wouldnt want to fall there for sure – high risk of hitting the ledge, and the line where the route is climbed is a bit more to the left). Also the last bolt before the anchor is weird positioned ( a LOT of rope drag if you clip it….and you climb a bit higher anyway)

Anyway, the bolts looks super rusted ( the ear seems ok but the screw looks really bad at all bolts).

Nice route but it should be rebolted for sure.

This route has a bee hive on it just above bolt number 4. Be very careful!
