    We just found out about the slackline at Massouri beach, courtesy of Monica:

    “We have recently acquired a slackline (Sponsored be Eric at Best Moto & Climbers Massage) and have begun to do Sunset Slackline events on Masouri beach on Wednesday evenings. It´s a great way to meet other climbers, have fun, and enjoy drink specials! Everyone is welcome to join in and show their skills! This will be a regular weekly event as long as there are climbers around and will begin again in September through the Autumn. Hope you can make it down some time!”

    I really hope this kind of ‘organised fun’ stays limited to one night per week only and doesn’t escalate – for the benefit of locals, climbers and other visitors who prefer a peaceful beach to watch the sunset from.

    It would be a tragedy for Massouri beach to be turned into a Thailandesque ‘events’ place – It’s beautiful just the way it is.
