I will continue to update this post as I discover things over the next month or so.

Grande Grotta/Panorama:

– Monahiki Elia

Anchor carabiner more than half worn through(!). People relying on clipping a second leaver biner. Also, a bent & broken mallion lives on the anchor.

– Uncle Bert

STILL missing first bolt 1.5 years later. Needs nut and hanger. Punch the threads to stop the hanger coming off easily.

– Steps Ahead

Anchor broken, needs complete replacement. Currently two leaver biners on final two bolts of the pitch.

Guidebook errors:

1. Arginonta: page 129 & 131 need to swap (route numbering issues)

Hi Lee,

Thanks very much for offering. In fact it would be great if you could join us in a couple of weeks to rebolt these routes (are you sorry you asked? )

We’ll bring the hardware.

Also, the page error has been corrected in the guidebook’s 2nd print run, which is already available at shops.

Sector Spartacus

Second last hanger and nut was missing. We found and replaced the nut and placed an Aussie removable bracket so it can still be climbed in the interim until a proper permanent fixed hanger can be placed and tightened.
