    I’m very sorry to say that I removed a substantial piece of rock from the crux section of the climb. Noone was hurt. The rock was thrown past my belayer and landed on the rope which was on the ground beside him. Photo of the aftermath including what it did to Stu’s brand new rope in the following post.

    While I’m here… Nymfi at Galatiani looks like it has had a chunk of crux stal ripped off. 8a.nu lists it as happening on the the 7th of this month. Its the stal that you catch at the end of the crux.

    It still goes – It’ll just be more dynamic for the shorties now. Personally I’d regrade it to 7b+ but thats only my opinion….
