A large nest of big orange colored wasps was encountered at Trois Ilots on the climb Petite Haute. The nest is in apocket as the leader Pulls over the steep section of the climb. I was stung multiple times. Climbers on Delice Choc to the left and Sandy Kilo to the right wer also attacked. I had to leave several draws behind when I retreated as did the climbers on either side of me. I was later able to retrieve all but one draw. That draw is identified with blue and yellow tape. If anyone is able to retrieve that draw I would appreciate it’s return. Climbers who had been on the routes in the cooler part of the morning were not bothered by the bees. Unfortunately for us they never mentioned the presence of the nest. Thank you.
