    Hello everyone, I’m arriving on May 26th at 6pm, and probably won’t catch the 6:30 ferry from Kos.
    Was wondering if there are any other ways to cross over to Kaly – maybe private boats?? – since the waiting time would be quite long until 23:45!! anyone else traveling and interested we could share..

    Hello, we do have the same problem but in June. There is a big gap between 6.30 and 23.45:-( I am a bit disapointed cause I did believed there will be more ferries in Summer.. BUT: I know there is a ferry to Kalymnos from the main port (Kos) I think at 21.30. Check the blue stars ferries.. We have never used the ferry from the main port (always coming from Mastichari) so I do not know about the taxi prices (should be more expensive- it is about 25 kilometers away from the port). Please let me know after you manage the trip (how did you go) Thanks!

    I took the Blue Star Ferry from Kos port town, the taxi ride was 30Euro but the boat ticket was 6. So all in all it was worth it and saved me a few long houra of waiting time. Check their website for the schedule.

    thank you so much. Definitelly the Blue star ferry is a better option.
