Another ferry query (sorry) – Kos-Kalymnos

Hi all,

First planned visit to Kalymnos May 16th is fast approaching (can’t wait). During the winter we booked flights from London Gatwick which lands at Kos 2110 hrs. Seeing the ferry timetable recently posted, do we stand any chance of making the 2130 ferry? Could there be a later one? We have accommodation booked in Masouri but 20 minutes from touchdown to the port seems tight to say the least! Here’s hoping for a good tailwind for the flight over!!

Propably the ferry will be waiting for you. I advice you to ask about this, a few days before your trip, directly the fast ferry company http://www.anekalymnou.gr/en/ at tel 0030 22430 29612 or email info@anekalymnou.gr

Thought I’d post a quick update that may reassure fellow travellers.

We received no reply to our e-mail however it appears the ferry waits for the last flight in.

According to the schedule the last ferry is 2130. By the time we had got through arrivals and to the port it was gone 2200. To our relief the ferry was still there.

Fantastic 11 day holiday followed.
