Anyone 'fixed' in Kalymnos in June? (flexible dates)

Hi all,

I’m thinking to base myself in Kaly for a few weeks in June, since I’m able to work location independently and only part time. I don’t think it’ll be difficult to find decent accommodation, but I was wondering whether it’ll be possible to find a climbing partner, perhaps someone that’s based in Kaly as well for more than a few days or a week, that would be able to regularly meet and go climb a few hours a day? I’m not sure I would want to constantly having to post online and search for new partners every few days..

I was there last in 2018 and I think I remember some people living there more permanently, but that might have changed (also bec of Covid).

hi Berni, I’d prefer June cause I’ll be able to work less. I’d technically be able to come second half of May, or towards end of May already, but I won’t be able to climb much, so doesn’t make that much sense..

Hi guys, I’d be up for climbing 3.6-10.6 maybe a week longer. Do you have idea of how to get cheap accomadation since I am travelling alone? Maybe share something. I climb up to 7a/7b, 10 years experience.

I can’t seem to be able to edit the original post title but I had to push back Kalymnos into beginning of July, so I should be there around first week of July if all goes well (depending if the ferries run from Bodrum to Greece again actually).

If anyone is still there (or also had to delay), pls let me know.
