Arginonta / Gamos

Arginonta / Gamos is a new climbing sector still under development, located above Arginonta village on its southwest side. It consists of four smaller sub-sectors: Feminissure, White Spirit, Ruby, and Gamos.
The cliffs sit on private land owned by the Vazanelis family, who run Arginonta Beach apartments and the nearby mini-market. Please follow proper crag etiquette, keeping noise levels low and leaving no trace. Park close to the main road – don’t drive up the (private) dirty road with the scooter.
As of May 2025, all four sub-sectors are still being developed. The routes need more traffic to improve, and helmets are mandatory.

Magic man , a bit harder than Peter Pan, max 7a+(holiday grading)
Peter Pan easy 7a (only on kalymnos)

All routes are interesting, nice climbing and bolting

Thank you for the update on Gamos / Arginonta, I was wondering if anyone had sent or had further updates on Feminissure 5, 18m.

I sent it on lead and I suspected it to be about a 6a+ to 6b+ in difficulty. Is there anyone I can talk to or any further updates on a name or grade difficulty on this route? I understand the update was just over a month and a half ago.

Info about the climb:

Feminissure 5, 18m is a pretty straightforward route to climb until you get to the crux which is a quite difficult boulder problem which requires a good amount of strength to overcome, and thereafter it becomes straightforward again. Its hard to see whats in front of you especially at the end as there is a bush blocking the view of the anchor once you’ve almost finished the route.

Kalimera. we are in Kalymnos and would like to visit gamos/ruby sector. Is it open already? There is a list of routes on app but some other info would be appreciated.
Can you describe the approach please?
From what time the shade is there?

It is nice that climbers can respect the ethics that once you are done climbing to brush all the tick marks off the routes. Please take the time to clean the routes even if the ticks are not yours. The developers of these climbs have spent a lot of time, energy, effort, work and money to put the bolts into the rock and clean the plants. A brush costs less than 10 euro and can be used many times to keep the climbs clean for the next climber. It may only take 2/3 minutes to brush the holds on the route you just climbed. Thanks it is a the one simple thing every climber can do to give back to the community on kalymnos
