Climbing partner for Winter 2020/21 (Dec-Feb)

About me

I’m a man, in my 40s, on a RTW bicycle trip. Now stuck in Europe due to Covid19. I’m looking for a place to survive Winter while having fun.

My Climbing experience

I’m a beginner/intermediate. Climbed indoors regularly for 1 year (2017-2018, mostly lead climbing grade 6B). Was on Kalymnos 2 times before and climbed outdoors elsewhere a dozen times or so. Interested in sports climbing on bolted and safe routes (possibly also multi-pitch).

Looking for climbing partner and flat mate

Ideally, climbing partner is more experienced and of course a safe belayer! Cool if you want to share a 2BR flat for 2-3 months on Kalymnos. I don’t have a flat yet, currently looking into options (I might as well rent a single room somewhere). Either way I’m expecting not to spend more than 250 EUR per person/month for rent, depending on location.

My plan / timing

Realistically I could be in Greece in early December, planning to stay 2-3 months. I’m aware it can get really rainy in the area in Winter which is okay. My fingers and body are not used to climbing anymore and need some time to adjust

Equipment

I have helmet, grigri 2, quick-draws, belay glasses etc. in storage. Hope my rope (80 m) is still okay after 2 years.
