Great little restaurant in Arginonta

Our 5th time in Kalymnos and we just discovered a nice restaurant today after climbing at Summertime sector (it’s been there a couple of years, but I think the owners are new?). It’s on the way to Arginonta, just before you turn sharply left into the village, on the right-hand side. Anyway the owner was really nice–one of those wonderful Kalymnians we’ve all met while spending time here. We had goat, which was perfect, very good salads, and beers. Affordable, tasty, and casual. Like everyone else we typically eat at Masouri, but it’s a shame not to support these more intimate, out-of-the-way businesses, so I thought I’d put that out there. Arginonta is a beautiful part of the island and we find ourselves stopping there more and more after climbing.

I’ll keep it in the back of my head for the next time! I definitely realized there was some kind of restaurant next to that turn. The people you meet while visiting is such a big factor I think. I would recommend the Pirate’s restaurant at Kalamies beach to everyone. Such a laid back and cool dude. Great Kalamari and Greek Salad!
