    Hi,

    Does anyone know the name / grade of the new route left of Oetida at Iliada?

    It’s an overhanging arrete.

    it is ‘Le Grand Retour’ 3* 7c+ 30m

    i thik that is good idea to split this route for two:

    Retour 7a??, 3*, 12m to the first anchor of Oetida

    and Le grande Retour 7c+, 3*, 30m

    I did the link up you mention today, the first third of LGR up to the Oetida chain , and then up the 7a extension. Excellent combination at around 7b, maybe 7 b+ for an onsight. Awkward couple of clips on the arรชte. LGR upper tufas were soaking wet. Worth doing in its own right.
