Kalymnos solo in winter?

I’m thinking about an extended stay in kalymnos in the winter but not sure about weather, partners and accessibility in winter(dec-jan). Has anyone done kalymnos solo period let alone in winter? Has anyone done Kalymnos in winter? I hear it can be wet but would love some more first hand accounts. Any info is helpful. Also if you are planning to be there dec or jan get in touch.

Hi, my husband and I are thinking of coming to kalymnos in january and are looking for a third partner as our our son will also be coming. Are you still thinking of going?

Going solo for the last 2 weeks of November.

Flights are harder so I’m going Scotland-Athens-Kalymnos and return.

If you’re then in November give me a shout for some climbing!!

I’m planning on being on kalymnos on my own in January and maybe some of Feb depending on partners.

Hi all,

I’ll be in Kalymnos again soon, between 28 JAn and 8 Feb.

I’ve been a few times and know the island a little now.

Very experienced, happy with a gri gri, on sight maybe 7B and happy to project up to 7c+/8A on a good day. Very happy on the 6’s too, in fact I’m happy just to be out climbing and meeting new friends in the wonderful Kalymnos.
