I now have the new guidebook in my hands, and it is a fantastic tool !
The content is perfect. Two remaks only on useability:
1) the mapping between the sectors numbers on the map (back of the front cover) and the table of content is lacking. You have to go through the “Crag planner” to find the info and the page numbers.
2) About page numbers, numbers printed in black on dark blue background or images are hard to read.
Now about the app, except the registration issue that should be solved by Vertical Life (see other topic), I found one major problem, which is that there is no link between the routes numbers on the topo images and the names and info of the routes. This makes it very difficult to find the info about the routes, especially on topo images with a great number of routes, and vice-versa. This is a big lack, certainly compared to the “other” app !
This is partly compenseted by the fact that the drawings of the routes as they appear in the app indicate the grades together with a number … which is something that should also be available in the book !
But it is still the best topo I’ve ever seen !
