    Has anybody any experience or comments to make about the climbing in this area.

    Strange to see this post on a Kalymnian Forum…

    I have been there many times…

    Small nice village with a campsite, but also possible to stay on the parking. Climbing is well protected with a good range between 4c to 8c. The lines in the 6th grade are the best but Orpierre does offer some good 7th and 8th grade as well. Mainly sportclimbing but also possible to do some multipitches on the big Quiqulion wall. Climbing season is from March-November as Orpierre does not have a lot of rain. Any questions just ask…

    Spent 2 weeks there a couple of years ago. the multi pitch routes are superb and the overall quality is excellent. We stayed on the smaller campsite a couple of KM West of the village which has a brilliant atmosphere and a superb bouldering wall in the barn if you can’t get enough! It is within striking distance of Ceuse, Sisteron and many crags to the West.
