hello,

i just climbed this new route.

nice climbing on tufas, with hard section around 3. bolt, then some easier moves, than 2 (two) chipped holds, small grimps but definitly not natural.

this 2 holds are small but allowed reaching a neiberhood tufa(to the left) than with hard move reching upper tufa, than route getting easier

my guestion is:

why make artifical holds and

if somebody decide to chip some holds why not make this hold bigger and more plasure and made the sequence independent and straid, without stupid traverse to the left route.

i think that if this artificial holds will be bigger, route will be nicer with probably the same difficulty:-)

Hi Kolarz8a,

The equippers of “Phantasma” (Aris Theodoropoulos and Simon Montmory) reply that they definitely have not chipped or created any artificial holds. Next time they are at Ghost Kitchen they will check out this route to see what’s going on with the two crimps you report.
