Rebolting: DNA and some other routes….

I climbed DNA in the start of may, and observed that some of the bolts close to the anchor was very rusty.

The 2nd last bolt at Axium (close to the tufa saddle) should be placed a little bit higher up. If you fall on this bolt it can be too much weight on the tufa saddle (break?) and it is not good for the rope.

Normally the distance between the bolts at Kalymnos is not to far. But I think the distance between the the last bolt and the anchor at Aphrodite (Grande grotta) is to far. If you get pumped and fall close to the anchor, it is possible to hit the ground….

October 2011 I found a lot of rusty bolts at the steep routes at Pescatore. Does anyone know if there has been any rebolting this year? The routes are really nice, but the bolts…..
