We have just enjoyed a day of some of the best climbing in the low sixes I have experienced here in Kalymnos. I’m talking about the upper tier routes of the Black Buddha sector of the Arginonta Valley. Every route of the upper tier (from the route Arhat on) is four star. However, one route, the sector namesake, Buddha, is listed as being 25 meters long but is likely 32m or more long and has 16 bolts plus the anchors. These routes as well as the lower Middle Wall and Right Wall of Arginonta Valley are exceptional with bolts every two meters, great diversity of movement, sequence and flow. Lovin’ it!
