Thanks to the continuing hard work of many on new routes, beautiful Kalymnos is attracting more & more climbers from many different countries. However it’s sad to find a lot more people going to toilet near cliffs, on access paths or very near them. For example, just towards Stankill from Grande Grotte. So much shit & piles of loose toilet paper. Not so nice for walkers and not good for the hygiene of the houses below. Pretty horrible especially in the recent dry & very windy weather! Please could Aris’s wise words about where to go & shit be repeated at the start of every guide section, download, etc? For emergencies, please get far away from climbs AND footpaths. And why not take a small bag to carry away your toilet paper? Please be pro-active & make your feelings known to those spoiling Kalymnos. Let’s keep it special here so we can all enjoy it for many years to come.
